ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant - Harborne - ASAP Start

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming school in Harborne.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate TA who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with ASD on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting with learning, communication and social development
Implementing strategies to meet individual needs
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with ASD
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Patient, caring and adaptable approach
Relevant TA or SEN qualifications are desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
