Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with excellent pay, overtime opportunities, and the potential for a permanent position? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading gas supplier for a Class 1 Cylinder Driver based in Plymouth.

💷 Pay Rates:

• £17.74 per hour

• Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week

• £26.61 per hour for overtime (over 42.5 hours) and weekend shifts

• All weekend hours paid at the overtime rate

The Role

As a Class 1 Cylinder Driver, your primary responsibility will be trunking cylinder loads between the Plymouth and Neath depots, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Some shifts may also involve local deliveries of gas cylinders to large commercial and industrial customers, where you'll provide a professional service and represent the business to a high standard.

Requirements

✅ Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
✅ Digi Card and Driver CPC
✅ ADR Licence (Class 2 in Packages)
✅ Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations and tachograph legislation
✅ Ability to pass a DBS check

For insurance purposes, applicants must have relevant HGV driving experience, no more than 6 points on their licence, and no DD or DR convictions within the last 12 months.
